My fashion style is a mix of my own aesthetics and trending fashions. I’m always switching up my look because I think the world of fashion is too large and beautiful to just stick with one style. I like to mix vintage with modern, and also love up cycling clothes. I truly think there’s not a piece of clothing or type of aesthetic that I couldn’t make work!

I am so big on making your mind a happy place. My own kind of beautiful is being able to have a good inner dialogue with yourself and finding yourself beautiful. I am big on self affirmations and confidence. It really starts from within as cliche as it sounds.

My parents inspire me the most. Without them, I would still be living in a third world country and my life would be completely different. They gave my siblings and I a better life and a chance to decide who I want to be/ what I want to do with my life. Also, they inspired me to adopt one day as well.

If you are struggling with confidence I would first of all want you to know that you are wonderfully made. I guarantee you there is representation in the entertainment industry and the world for any insecurities you have, watch those people, follow their story on how they healed, talk to someone who loves you and who you love, hold your head high because you are amazing.

To me, being your own kind of beautiful means being okay with your uniqueness, and embracing it. Not trying to be what’s popular, and just staying true to yourself.

To me, being your own kind of beautiful is owning every part of you in full. Being proud of who you are, where you come from and all that you’ve been through. Being beautiful is not just about what you look like, it is what is in your heart and how you treat the people in your life!

It sounds so cliche, but you really are PERFECT the way you are. No one could ever be you and that is truly the most beautiful thing about you. To stay true to who you are because it will take you far greater places believing in yourself than waiting for someone to believe in you

I would say to anyone struggling with confidence that self love really is the biggest factor in changing your outlook on life. I always hated when people would tell me that because I was struggling with self love for so many years. I started doing monthly therapy sessions and that definitely helped. But, the biggest thing I would say for anyone to feel better is spend time with those you love, go outside, go for a walk, call your friend. The small things add up and heal your mind when you do things with the intention of getting better and feeling your best.

My favorite quote is “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, and that means not everyone will think the same things are beautiful. Some of my biggest flaws others may consider to be my most beautiful assets. Being your own kind of beautiful is all about perception and how we see beauty in ourselves. Not everyone will think I’m the most beautiful woman, but that’s okay because I am beautifully me.

Advice I have for someone just getting started in modeling is to practice and get as much experience as you can. Look at yourself in the mirror and practice your poses and faces. I also suggest reaching out to photographers to build your portfolio.

My father, when I was struggling with my confidence throughout my teenage years, always told me to look at myself as a caterpillar continuing to develop and grow into this beautiful blue royal monarch butterfly. That is the best thing I could say to someone because it sticks with me everyday and I am reminded of it everytime I see a butterfly. Confidence is like a caterpillar growing into a butterfly; it's a process but in the end we are all beautifully unique in our own way.

To anyone struggling with their confidence:

“Confidence is not something that grows overnight. I would advise them to take steps everyday to get out of their comfort zone. Being positive with oneself, telling yourself compliments, and celebrating little achievements are great exercises to grow confidence.”
