Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
Hello Hannah Noelle Models family. My name is Olivia Ahearn and I am 28 years old. I am originally from Cambodia. I was adopted when I was 8 years old. I now live in Western NY with my fiance and will be getting married next Summer. We have two dogs and a cat. Not to pick favorites, but my little Pomeranian named Simba is my baby. I have a huge family and we are family oriented.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I didn’t get into modeling until my freshman year of college which was 2012. It’s funny actually because my friend and I were walking around campus when a fashion student needed a person to wear her dress and do the school fashion show. She asked me and I had never done a runway show before but since then, modeling has been my passion. Thus far, I have done a few commercial shoots, prints, runway shows, and movies.
What is your biggest dream?
I would love to see myself on billboards in Times Square and other cities. To work with SI Swim is another dream, as well as to one day model around the world and inspire young girls to follow their dreams and show older ladies that it’s never too late to chase their dreams as well.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Accepting all of your flaws and learning to love them because being beautiful is how you see yourself.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I like to be comfortable, so I would say that my fashion style is more of a casual chic.
Who or what inspires you?
My parents inspire me the most. Without them, I would still be living in a third world country and my life would be completely different. They gave my siblings and I a better life and a chance to decide who I want to be/ what I want to do with my life. Also, they inspired me to adopt one day as well.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Don’t give up! Just keep going because giving up means you gave up on your dreams and are living in the “what if?”.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
My healthy brother was diagnosed with Leukemia. Watching him go through that at a very young age made me realize that life is short. Even though he was young and weak from cancer, he was still tough and smiled when he saw me. He made the whole thing less scary even though he was the one suffering. He made me realize that even though bad things happen, you just have to believe that there are good things coming your way. It made me look at life differently.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I feel like being beautiful isn’t about your outward appearance. I believe that being beautiful is how you see yourself and how you act/ your personality. I feel like my personality is what makes me beautiful more than my looks. I am friendly and kind to others and I enjoy helping people.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Everyone glows up at a different point in their life, so don’t compare yourself to others. I know social media has a huge influence in that but stop! What you are/ what you have is beautiful. Others might want what you have so embrace so embrace who you are because that’s what makes you, you!
