To be your own kind of beauty is to be the version of yourself that you are proud of. Be the version of yourself that you once worked so hard for. To be your true self.

What it means to be your own kind of beautiful is comparing for example a Sunflower, and a sun. They are both totally different but they are beautiful in their way.

To be your own kind of beautiful means embracing yourself without restraint. Being confident in your uniqueness and sharing that with others. It means knowing your worth no matter what and romanticizing that.

Something I would tell someone my age that is struggling with their confidence would be to be selfish. There is nothing wrong with doing things that make you feel good or benefit you in any way, especially if that thing can help with your confidence. Also do not compare yourself to people, there will always be someone who is bigger, better, prettier,etc. That does not matter because you are only seeing one side of that person and internally they may be struggling with the same exact thing that you are. Always love yourself at the end of the day you only have yourself.

Owning every part of who you are without wavering. One lesson I have learned in life is that not everyone is going to see the value in me. I have to have unwavering love and confidence for myself regardless of who does not. Being my own kind of beautiful means to love me and to stand true in that.

I would advise staying true to yourself and to your work and post on what makes you

comfortable and happy. Not just thinking about the money but how you feel about a certain

work you are doing. Do not dim your light for the purpose of others; keep working hard;

you’ll find your audience and fit in with those who accept you for you and what’s meant for

you will always find you.

Figure out your “why?” because that’s going to get you through the times when no one is calling you back. Will you still want this if for 6 months you are not getting paid? Learn not to take rejection personal: it’s a blessing in the redirection, research the types of modeling, see which ones are in your market/area, connect with photographers in your area, write down your realistic goals, test shoot, practice posing, and have fun with it! “Why so serious?”

My advice to a beginner model is to believe in yourself because you are your biggest critic. Follow the passion that's in your heart for modeling and do not give up no matter how many "no's" you might get, you have that desire for a reason so follow it!

I’m always inspired by a challenge. If someone tells me I can’t do something – I’ll try even harder to make sure I accomplish that one thing. I’m inspired by people who work hard and aren’t afraid to be themselves.

What makes me beautiful is the glow from the inside which is from our Creator. I have qualities such as kindness, respect and honesty which gleams from the inside out. Sometimes, I don’t have an hour to get ready so to be able to throw on anything and still feel good is beautiful.

I would say to not be so hard on yourself, comparison can be one of your biggest downfalls making it difficult for you to stay confident so avoiding comparison is key. Social media is a lot of photoshop and editing, remember these are peoples best moments, hiding their worst ones off screen in their day to day lives so there is no use in comparing yourself. You just need to find your inner beauty and passions and shine even when no one else is watching. My biggest advice is to always keep in mind that self care is vital for you along this journey of discovering/ increasing your confidence so never forget that.

My advice to anyone who is just getting started in modeling would be to always treat everyone with kindness. You never really know what connections can come from knowing certain people, and it's important to always spread that positivity in the industry regardless.

I would encourage them to stand up for what they believe in and what they want. To focus less on the outcome and more on the efforts in being a stronger person and learning to tolerate failure fosters resilience.
