Tell us about yourself

Immigrating from Nigeria as a child was a transition that did not always come easy. Now as a 24 year old, I am more confident than I have ever been in my life. I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2021 and currently work full time as a registered nurse. I am an advocate for healthy living, and started an initiative called All Bases Covered (ABC) Health to provide free resources to anyone looking to improve their overall health.

Tell us about your modeling experience:

Standing at 6 feet tall, becoming a model has always been a dream of mine. I began my journey in pageantry,  learning how to become a spokesmodel and becoming more confident in myself. I love being on a runway and posing for the camera. It is my desire to work full time as a model and make a name for myself within the modeling industry.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to become financially literate and learn how to manage money. Being from Nigeria, I know many people who live in poverty. Reading books about maintaining wealth is a hobby I love to do. Being disciplined is a lesson I have learned so far, and I am excited for what I am to learn in the future.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Owning every part of who you are without wavering. One lesson I have learned in life is that not everyone is going to see the value in me. I have to have unwavering love and confidence for myself regardless of who does not. Being my own kind of beautiful means to love me and to stand true in that.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I love to keep it simple, but make it POP. A pop of color or with a statement shoe/purse. I love to keep it cute and classy but with a pop of fun. Being 6 feet tall,  I am very visible when I walk into a room,  so I strive to do that with my outfits.

Who or what inspires you?

My goals inspire me to stay dedicated to myself and my craft. I love to learn essential characteristics from those who have been successful in their field. Implementing positive qualities into my life helps me to get closer and closer to my goal. I am inspired by anyone who can go after their desires despite obstacles they may have faced, just as I am doing.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Never give up! It’s okay if you do not get it right the first time. Always know that if you keep believing in yourself and put in the work, you will accomplish your goals of becoming a model.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I am a registered nurse. When I first applied to nursing school, I did not get accepted. I was devastated, and thought I was not smart enough. I had to believe in myself and find what I could change in order to be successful. This is a lesson I instill in my daily habits and helps me find success.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My heart ultimately makes me beautiful. As a nurse, I have a loving and caring heart by nature. Having a beautiful heart allows my exterior beauty to shine even more. Beauty from within is what makes me a beautiful woman.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

You are not alone. Everyone struggles with their confidence, including me. Confidence is not a one time thing. Confidence must be maintained on a daily basis. It is important to remind yourself that you are worthy and that you are more than enough.
