What it means too me to be your own beautiful, is just being you! Being comfortable in your skin, loving who you are inside and out and embracing it.

To be your own kind of beautiful means to stay true to you, and not to society’s standards. Authenticity is power. Being your own kind of beautiful includes being confident in who you truly are, in all aspects.

To a boy/girl struggling with confidence... I would say to him/her that Beauty is never in the face; it’s a light in the heart. If you walk with a kind heart, beauty will radiate from the inside out.

Many things inspire me, perhaps of those things what really drives inspiration to me is the desire to be great and memorable, not just another person who walked through the steps of life, someone who distinguished themselves from the cookie cutter model and made an impression in their passage of life.

Beauty is divisible, scattered all around the world. In sunsets and in stars, in water falls and in manmade cathedrals halls; none taking from another. Therein, the world’s people too.

Stop comparing your own beauty to others, everyone out there doesn’t think they’re perfect. Every single person has their own idea of beauty and you should make your standard your own beauty. I have struggled with this like everyone, but gaining that confidence will make stop wanting validation from others to feel happy in your own skin, it should come from within.

I am constantly inspired by the people around me. Whether that be my family, my friends, or complete stranger, seeing people change the world for the better truly inspires me. I am also inspired by music, and believe that music is a great way to communicate important messages (especially about mental health which i believe is extremely important).

I take inspiration from everywhere and anyone. I don't have just one person or thing that inspires me. Humans are so versatile and we constantly adapt and change; therefore, for me, it is difficult to have one source of inspiration.

Overall I just want to be successful in whatever I do, whether it’s modeling or working in the medical field. I want to travel all around the world and experience things out of my home town.

My biggest dream is to start a non-profit organization targeting inner-city youth like myself. I want to be a voice in my community and continue the cycle of giving back. I believe one of my purposes in life is to help create a fair and equitable society for all.

I would describe my fashion style as street-chic. I love a cute pair of distressed denim jeans matched with a black crop top and a nice pair of boots. But at the same time, I love a cute summer dress.

One thing I would quote by Les Brown is, “It’s possible”. Surround yourself with positive energy and good vibes that bring out a better version of you. Put God first, stay motivated, and always remember life is a marathon not a race so go at your own pace.

I started modeling at the age of 13 years old. My mother placed me in summer modeling boot camp. At the age of 15 years old, I did Barbizon Modeling School. It was a great experience for me. The school taught me how to model and be comfortable in my own skin. I’ve been signed to couple of model agencies and have done modeling work for them. I took a break and mainly focused on school, and at the age of 23, I ended up going back to modeling and got signed with Professionally Pretty. I’ve done runway, event modeling and more. Currently, I’m working as a model and an influencer.

As one who hated my natural hair, it’s learning to love it. Learn about your hair and what products make it best. Learn about your body and what styles show it off. Truly leaning about yourself is being your own kind of beautiful.

To someone who is struggling with their self confidence:

Self love will be your first love. It is possible for anyone to achieve. Don’t compare yourself to the celebrities, people on social media, or any unrealistic stereotype. People love a genuine soul and the right ones will always love you for who you are. This was one thing that took me a while to learn because I care so much about what others think. The older I get, the more I realize life isn’t a competition. You are always enough!

I think what makes me beautiful is the way I treat other people. I love seeing other people happy and I think being beautiful is all about your personality.
