My fashion style is a bold statement created by my emotions. I can dress feminine, classy,

and soft if I feel that way. But I can also dress the opposite. There’s no better way to

express myself than through fashion.

Comparing does nothing but bring you down and eventually it will start to bring those around you down, as well. You are your own person, on your own journey, and it is everyone’s first time living.

I remember feeling similar, but focusing on things I was good at, like modeling and giving back, really helped build my confidence. Remember, everyone's a work in progress, so don't compare yourself to others. You have the power to do amazing things, and your voice matters."

As a model, height for me is an obstacle to overcome. I am not exceptionally tall, and I have faced challenges because of it. However, I have learned to work with what I have and focus on other aspects of modeling. For example, I have been able to focus on perfecting my posing, facial expressions, and overall presence on the runway or in front of the camera. By doing this, I have been able to still pursue modeling, despite not being as tall as some of the other models. Overcoming this obstacle has taught me the importance of focusing on my strengths and not letting my weaknesses hold me back.

Do the leg work. Educate yourself in the industry. Practice. Network. Network. Network. Like any passion, to succeed you must put 100% into that success. With the dawn of social media came the opportunity to make anyone and nearly anything accessible to you. Use that to your advantage. Take care of your health, work out, and eat right. Be thick skinned. Be prepared for rejection. Keep supporters around you, they are your biggest motivators.

- Ever since I can remember, I have always yearned to be in front of the camera. I remember walking around the mall in complete awe of all the models being shown in the stores or on the billboards and magazines. It would be my DREAM to one day achieve what the models I’d fan girl over have. To some day seeing myself as the girl I’d dream about becoming would be the biggest dream come true.

I would say surround yourself with loving and supportive people. The people you surround yourself with

makes all the difference in your confidence. If you surround yourself with people who constantly

criticize you it’s going to translate into your mindset and it goes the same for if you surround

yourself with people who support you.

For advice for anyone who is starting modeling is to be yourself and don’t take yourself so seriously, If you can be yourself, that’s half the work right there! Casting directors want someone who stands out and someone who can be hardworking and easy to work with. If you can have that’s most important, i agree that there is a time and a place but being able to enjoy yourself and wonderful experiences is worth while.
