Tell us about yourself

I am a former state pageant titleholder for New Jersey and current North America titleholder looking to transition to the modeling industry as I get older. Although I am only 16, I have dreams of doing big commercial work and becoming a medical doctor.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I have worked with many small businesses as a model/representative for both photography and fashion throughout my life. Pageantry has also accustomed me to the idea of modeling and introduced me to agencies such as Hannah Noelle and Everything Formals, where I have applied and now look for my first jobs.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to hold both a doctorate and work as commercial model, further proving that women today have beauty and brains.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

In this age of growing comparison and changing one's self for society, being your own kind of beautiful means embracing every aspect of yourself and promoting self-acceptance for one's audience. As a teenager myself, I see the pressure on young girls to be perfect, and I hope that my unwavering confidence and resilience despite industry standards helps to encourage others.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My sense of style is always a juxtaposition of classic, "throwback" styles as well as today's trends. I also spend a lot of time in high heels!

Who or what inspires you?

In my family, every single woman has shaped me in some way, giving me the examples I have needed that made me want to work for the goals I have.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to anyone started modeling is to put yourself out there and don't allow anyone to tell you no. Nearly every opportunity I have had was created by me!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.                  Despite being here for less than 2 decades, my life has still had its challenges that have made reaching my goals feel less possible. I didn't grow up with nearly as much money as many others in the industry, making things like classes and getting headshots a struggle. Further, as an outspoken member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have experienced difficult treatment working with closed-minded individuals over who I love. I believe hate should have no place in an industry like this.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I love myself on the outside, but even more so I love who I am on the inside. My dedication to my community and what is important to me makes me beautiful.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?                                        To any other girl my age struggling with their confidence: realize that you are not alone, and every single girl you look up to has probably felt the exact same way you do. Be you!
