Tell us about yourself
I am 20 years old, from Bronx NY. I started modeling just a year ago. I have done photo shoots and runway events. I appeared on the Yolanda Cellucci Show. I am also a Performance Artist, Singer and Songwriter. I love to sing R &B, Pop and Rap. I really enjoy modeling and working with different designers.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I started just a year ago. I appeared in some local runway events, as well as New Hampshire Fashion Week. I have modeled for several designers: Denise Hajjar, Marie Lucce, and Tonya Nicols, to name a few. I worked with many photographers like Michael Rose, Andrew Powers, Dennis Gagnon to name a few.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to become successful in the music and modeling industry. I really want to become a famous singer/famous model.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To love yourself and be confident in who you are.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I love dressing up. I really enjoy the glitz and sparkle of fashion, trying on so many different styles. I love the classy looks. I also enjoy casual clothes and the sporty look.
Who or what inspires you?
My father, who is my music inspiration. He helps me with my songwriting. He has been my motivator to keep me focused. I am very inspired by singers like Aaliyah, Britney Spears and Tinashe.
What have been your greatest accomplishments?
Getting to a recording studio, recording my music and performing at amazing venues, plus making my first music video. Being approached after a fashion runway event and meeting David Josef and Yolanda Cellucci, who invited me to be on her TV show. Graduating High School was an accomplishment, I turned my life around and found myself.
Do you have any special talents?
I love Singing, songwriting, dancing and drawing.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I was really bullied in middle school and high school. I was often a victim of rumors and picked on for my appearance and how I dressed and for my music. But I learned to take the negativity and turn it into positive energy. It made me stronger as a person and really gave me the desire to succeed.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
Being the person who I am, being confident, loving myself, my giving personality. Plus feeling beautiful when I get all dressed up.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Love yourself, put yourself first. Think and do positive. Look at yourself every day in the mirror and remind yourself every day that you are beautiful, intelligent and confident!
