Tell us about yourself :

I'm 21 years old, originally from Upstate New York, but moved to Florida three years ago for college. I graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and am now pursuing my master's in the same field. During my free time, I love crocheting clothing and spending time with my puppy, Newton.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I participate in pageants and currently hold the title of Miss Florida Earth 2024. My experience includes catalog modeling for brands such as East Swim and Sculpted by Elise. Recently, I had the opportunity to walk in a sustainable bikini fashion show, and I am also scheduled to participate in an upcoming bridal fashion show.

What is your biggest dream?

My aspiration is to succeed as both a model and an engineer simultaneously, aiming to show that beauty and intelligence are compatible qualities in anyone. I strive daily to promote this message, challenging conventional perceptions and encouraging others to embrace their unique blend of talents and passions.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful means embracing your unique qualities inside and out, and feeling comfortable not conforming to conventional beauty standards. Confidence is truly the most beautiful attribute a person can possess.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as eclectic and versatile, blending elements of streetwear with a touch of comfort and uniqueness. I enjoy incorporating crocheted clothing into my wardrobe, as it adds a handmade and personal touch to my outfits.

Who or what inspires you?

My late father, who was also an engineer, continues to inspire me profoundly. His unwavering support and belief in my pursuits have left an indelible mark on my life. His dedication to his work and his commitment to excellence motivate me to strive for the highest standards in everything I do.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Getting started in modeling requires persistence, confidence, and the ability to manifest your dreams into reality. It's essential to persistently pursue opportunities, whether it's attending castings, networking, or improving your portfolio. Rejection is part of the process, but staying resilient and learning from each experience will ultimately lead to success.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

The passing of my father when I was 19 was a profound obstacle that fundamentally changed my perspective and motivated me to push harder toward my goals. Losing him at such a formative age made me realize the fragility of life and the importance of seizing every opportunity no matter how impossible certain things may seem. It ignited a drive within me to become the person I aspire to be and one I know he'd be proud of..

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

What makes me beautiful is my confidence, poise, and happiness. Confidence allows me to embrace my unique qualities and strengths, while poise helps me carry myself with grace and dignity in any situation. Ultimately, my happiness stems from being comfortable in my own skin and finding joy in both my achievements and journey through life. Beauty truly does come from within.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would say, "You are unique and valuable just as you are. Focus on your strengths, work on your weaknesses, be kind to yourself, and take small steps outside your comfort zone. Your confidence will grow and you'll see how amazing you truly are. Everyone is capable of everything."
