Tell us about yourself:

My name is Elizabeth B, Izzy for short. I am 23 years old, I bounce back and fourth from Maine to New York every other week. I manage a women’s boutique in Southern Maine and I absolutely love styling others and helping others feel good in their own skin. I also help out many small businesses with social media content!

Tell us about your modeling experience:

I have been modeling for 9 months now. The moment I truly fell in love with modeling and knew it was my path was back in December 2023. In just 9 months I have had the honor of walking 6 runway shows with a variety of different designers. I

What is your biggest dream?

At the moment my biggest dream is to see myself on a billboard in Times Square, so I will continue working hard and manifesting it!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Defining my own kind of beauty is simple, it’s embracing everything that makes you, YOU! Disregarding societal norms, the amount of likes on a photo, stretch marks etc. Being my own kind of beautiful is loving myself no matter the weather in every season.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style just as versatile as my music taste, incredibly all over the board! Anywhere from coquette, streetwear, vintage, light & dark academia, soft girl.

Who or what inspires you?

Natalie Germanotta-Dolan. She is my aunt and Lady Gaga’s sister. She is a fashion designer in NYC. I have learned so much about the industry, hard work and most importantly resilience through her. She will forever inspire me and guide me in the right direction.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice for new models is to really stay true to yourself, your style, your soul. Use every opportunity as a stepping stone and learning experience. Lean on other models in the industry! Ask questions, no question is a silly question. Have a few models around you that you really respect and admire, you’ll learn very quickly that with the right group of girls/agency there is no competition! Lastly, confidence looks best on you.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you:

From Pre-k to high school I moved all around New England approximately 15 times. Every year I adapted to being the new kid, missing out on those long term relationships and opportunities for sports and extra curricular activities. I learned from a very young age how to quickly make friends with everyone.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

It's not just about looks, it's about your kindness, confidence, humor, and passion. Every bit of my “flaws” make me who I am and I’ve learned overtime to embrace every last bit of myself.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Focus on what makes you happy and surround yourself with supportive people. Confidence grows over time, so be patient with yourself and celebrate your progress. You've got this! Comparison is the root of all evil. The right clothing has so much contribution to your confidence, wearing the right materials & fitted clothing has helped my confidence so much!
