Tell us about yourself.

Hi! My name is Ana. I was born in Mexico and raised in the beautiful city of Atlanta. I would describe myself as kind, intelligent and driven. A few of my interests are fashion, reading and discovering beautiful places.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I have been modeling for a little over 3 years now. I’ve done a few shoots with talented photographers and have had the opportunity to work with creative/ inspiring individuals.

What is your biggest dream?

I have so many dreams one being to grow in the modeling/ fashion industry and have the opportunity to participate in NYFW with some of the brands I admire. But I would also love to become a role model for other women and young girls, to inspire them to chase their dreams and spread kindness.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Beauty has so many different meanings but I truly believe that it comes from the heart and mindset. To be kind in a world that isn’t always so kind is truly powerful. To be yourself unapologetically and strive to be a good individual to others is beautiful.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My style can vary but I absolutely love dressing up. Wearing a beautiful dress and a pair of heels always makes me feel on top of the world!

Who or what inspires you?

My mother is my role model. Her strong and caring personality has always inspired me to keep my head up and conquer my fears. The sacrifices she has made for my siblings and I growing up are truly remarkable.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Just go for it! We all start somewhere, there is no “right time” just the current moment and that is reason enough to go after your dreams. You discover so much about yourself when you take a chance and believe that you are capable of anything.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has shaped you.

I have struggled with anxiety/ mental health since a young age. Most having to do with my childhood and trying to always show a strong face to the world besides feeling lost at times on the inside. I didn’t allow myself to feel my emotions and that lead to self doubt and holding myself back from the things I loved the most for fear of failing. But one day I realized that I had to break free from the cage I had created in my mind and learn to truly love myself. That I was worthy and capable of achieving my aspirations and most importantly to have faith in me. Our minds can sometimes be our worst enemies but it’s important to remember you are strong enough to face it all, even if it doesn’t feel like like it right now.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

What makes me beautiful is my heart. I always strive to be kind and to be there for my friends/ loved ones. Spreading positivity and making those around me smile brings me joy.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

You glow different when your confidence is fueled by belief in yourself instead of validation from others. We are all unique and special in our own way. Your mind will always believe everything you tell it. Feed it hope. Feed it truth. Feed it love. You deserve the whole world you know, and you should never forget.
