Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

I am from Boston, MA originally but currently living in Tampa, FL. I am 20 years old and a college student at University of South Florida working on my Biology degree. In addition to studying Biology I am passionate about singing and I have been singing for many years and a part of an acapella group. I also love working out, taking care of myself and being healthy is very important and I am a part of a running club. Also, I have always loved fashion and started modeling and going through training with John Casablancas and was so grateful to have the opportunity to sign with an agency.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I have gone through modeling training through John Casablancas where I was taught runway skills and different poses. I then went to IMTA in 2016 in NY and had the experience to go through more classes as well as compete in competitions such as a digital and jeans competition. One of the jobs I did was a Hair Fashion Show for Joico and that was an amazing experience. I have also done many photoshoots some in New York City and here in Tampa, FL.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to get my bachelors and graduates degree and go into research with my Biology major to help the community. Along with the career that I hope to get with my education it would be a dream to have the opportunity to do print model jobs and be the face of a website or magazine. I always enjoy wearing unique outfits and would love the opportunity to promote a clothing brand.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful means really embracing who you are on the outside and inside and having confidence in your looks. Everyone has a different look and it is important to embrace your unique features.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would say that my fashion style is very boho style and I wear a lot of clothing from local boutiques.

Who or what inspires you?

It inspires me when people are brave and take chances on opportunities as well as people who work hard and believe in themselves to achieve their goals.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

That it takes time and to not give up and feel discouraged. If you are not selected for a job because there are many other jobs that may be right for your look. Also, it is important to receive training to sharpen your skills and confidence is key as that will help in photoshoots and auditions.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Some obstacles I have overcome are that I used to compare myself to others and not being happy with my appearance or wished that I looked a certain way and that was affecting my happiness. I have learned to embrace who I am as a person and that everyone has flaws and it's alright not to be perfect. All I can do is work hard and be confident in myself. I also have dealt with others being unkind to me and that has affected me but I don't let it get to me and don't let others define who I am.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

What makes me beautiful is my confidence in myself and my strength through challenges. I also have a kind heart and always think of others more than myself.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

To just embrace who you are and think positive. Also, believing in yourself that you are capable and can accomplish anything that comes your way.
