Tell us about yourself

I am twenty years old and was born and raised in the Pocono Mountains! I was a competitive gymnast for 13 years and competed in college! I love the outdoors and anything athletic!

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I have always wanted to model but didn’t have the time to while I was a competitive gymnast, as I was training 8+ hours a day. Now that I have the experience of modeling it has made me more confident and happy!

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to make other people happy and feel comfortable in their own skin!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful to me means being beautiful on the inside. A kind heart and soul is the most important type of beauty. As well as felling comfortable and confident in your own skin. I struggled with this for a bit, but modeling gave me the confidence and comfort I needed to find in myself.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as classic. While this tends to be my go to look, I love elegant, athletic, and preppy as well. Who or what inspires you? I am inspired by Anna Victoria, she is a fitness trainer but is always posting that every angle is not your best angle and body positivity.

What have been your greatest accomplishments?

I am the founder of “Jillian’s Day”. Jillian’s Day was created for a five year old girl I coached in gymnastics who was terminally ill with brain cancer, it was a day for her to have fun. Since her passing it has been turned into a fundraiser and all the money goes to CHOP for children with cancer. I am the 2018 Leukemia Lymphoma Society student of the year, raising $52,000.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

When I was 17 years old, a five year old girl who I coached in gymnastics was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. I was so devastated when I found out and I felt numb. Being told she only had five months left to live I knew I needed to do something. But I didn’t want to just buy her something or give her something materialistic, I wanted to give her a memory. I wanted to give her the chance to forget about what she was going through and to just be a kid. So I created a day called “Jillian’s Day”. It was a day full of gymnastics, obstacles, and games for Jillian. She had a great time and it couldn’t had gone better. A few months later I got a call that she had passed away in her sleep. I was so heartbroken and felt numb. But I knew I needed to carry on her spirit. So, I turned Jillian’s day into a fundraiser and every year the money raised gets donated to CHOP for children with cancer. This taught me that life is precious and to live it to the fullest every day. It also taught me how important it is to help others and be there to support others. I feel that one of my main purposes in life is to help others. I believe I can do that through modeling and I am so excited to!

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I would have to say my heart and personality make me beautiful. I am a very lighthearted person and I immensely care about others. I am a big advocate for loving yourself and I feel as though I am able to do so through my modeling!

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would tell another person my age who is struggling with their confidence to look in a mirror and state every positive thing about themselves. To think about all they have accomplished and express the ways they are beautiful inside and out. There is more to beauty than just the outside. I would tell them that they need to stop convincing themselves they aren’t beautiful or whatever they are struggling with and point out every perfection I see.
