Tell us about yourself.

I'm 18 and from Fredericksburg, VA. Since high school and some of college, I did cheerleading. I spent my first year of college in Indiana and I met some amazing people. In my free time, I love to travel and volunteer to help the community. I have a passion for modeling and photography. While I continue to study biology in college I plan on pursuing modeling. I am happy that my friends and family support my goals.

What is your biggest dream?

I want to see my face on billboards and on the cover of trendy magazines. I would like to use my big platform to spread awareness and help others.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being yourself, loving yourself, and having confidence in yourself is a beautiful thing. If you know who you are no one else can tell you what you are not.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I think that I have a mixture of streetwear and chic style. I love to dress up but I also enjoy wearing casual clothing. I often try out different fashion styles to see what fits me better.

Who or what inspires you?

My aunt inspires me the most. She has always been so supportive of my goals. She taught me to push myself and not give up when things get tough. My aunt taught me excellent life lessons and constantly helps me to be the best version of myself. She radiates with confidence and she is one of the sweetest ladies that I know. I am grateful to have someone like her around.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

I am just getting started with modeling as well so you are not alone. Don't give up even when things are not moving as quickly as you would like. Don't lose hope if you get told no a few times. Stay determined, keep your head up high, and have a positive mindset.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

When I was 11, I experienced bullying for the very first time. I was often excluded and my classmates would say mean thing to me. It took me a long time to believe the positive words that my mother and aunt would say to me. I had to embrace my insecurities and start believing in myself. No one else can be the better version of you but yourself. I had to learn not to let people's words get to me. I would think of something positive and turn those negative words around.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

All of the obstacles that I faced and overcome has molded me into the person that I am today. Beauty comes from within. I'm a kind person and I have a desire to help others. I want people to see more than just my pretty face but what lies within.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

You do not have to fit into anyone's box or their expectations. Always be yourself. If people don't accept you for who you are then they're not for you/ You are destined for greatness so show everyone the best version of yourself!
