Tell us about yourself:
My name is Cheyenne S, I am a 23 year Italian African American born and raised in the Poconos of Pennsylvania. I’ve always had a passion for fashion and showing others that being in love with yourself is what true beauty is. Even though its difficult to express my vision in such a small area such as Stroudsburg, i am on a mission to spread my values of beauty and prosperity all across the world one day at a time.
Tell us about your modeling experience:
My journey started just a little over a year ago. I started taking photos for friends and local photographers that needed female models. After my first shoot I was blown away by how much I enjoyed it and how much it boosted my confidence. I made my own portfolio after a few 1 on 1 shots with the photographer, and before I knew it I fell in love with what I was doing. I then moved on to networking and modeling for such brands and started receiving abundance of followers who enjoy my content. That alone has inspired and motivated me to not only do this for myself but to pursue this as a career for the loved ones around me.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to travel and learn about all the different cultures. I would love to one day model for my favorite brand Michael Kors and Puma.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Feeling comfortable and confident in my own skin. Knowing the fact that i can be bold and courageous in my own home or in the public eye.
Describe your fashion style:
My fashion style is lounge-ware for example i model for a brand called Ethereal Studio.
Who or what inspires you?
People that work very hard for all that they have inspire me. It makes me see that I can accomplish anything i put my heart, mind, body & soul into.
What have been your greatest accomplishments?
My greatest accomplishment is coming from a point where I had no confidence in myself and now I am trying to pursue myself into a modeling career.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I have been through a lot of obstacles like many others but for me it would have to be living without my father. He has changed my life because he taught me how to be strong on my own.
Do you have any special talents? My special talent is problem solving.
I am always up to a challenge and I am always in competition with myself to see how many new things I can really accomplish.
What makes you beautiful?
Self confidence and my ability to be independent. Never give up on yourself.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
To anyone struggling with self confidence, just grab a mirror and keep telling yourself that you are beautiful/handsome. Feeling beautiful is more important than looking beautiful. It all comes from the inside first. Smile and keep positive thoughts only.
