My name is Samia Liverpool and I was born in the US Virgin Islands. I came to Miami when I was 4 years old. I grew up in Miami and now I am currently living in Tampa, FL. I'm very fun and outgoing, I enjoy things like traveling, trying new foods, and being in front of a camera!

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I've always done photoshoots for brands and photographers to help build their brand. I am a self-taught model, growing up being tall I always knew I had it in me. I would always practice poses and try on different clothing that would look fashionable. I've been to at least 3 runway shows and always watch and adore other models. They have been my inspiration to keep going and to never give up!

What is your biggest dream

My biggest dream is to be in a New York fashion show!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being my own beautiful is to always admire myself, never doubt my looks despite what others might think.

How would you describe your fashion style

I am very open minded when it comes to fashion. I piece together things that other people might not see as matching. I love to try new things, my fashion sense grows more and more as I grow.

Who or what inspires you?

I inspire myself, growing up with all my family being in the islands I never really had no one to boost my confidence. My dedication and determination is very strong and everyday I tell myself "I know I can!"

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

IT IS OKAY TO GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE! You never know how perfect something like an outfit or a pose can be if you don't try!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life.

I used to get bullied A LOT in middle school and high school due to me being so tall, skinny and being from the island. To most people I was "different" but I have learned to embrace that, it all starts with self love!

What makes you beautiful/ handsome?

My determination, my dedication and the self love that I have for myself. My personality is everything, I love to laugh, have a good time, and I tend to always find the positive in situations that can sometimes be negative. 

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

You have to love yourself first. Do things that will make YOU happy. Focus on pleasing yourself before you focus on pleasing other people.
