Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

I am 23 years old from Santa Cruz, California and I am the youngest of six siblings in my family. What I do in my free time is play video games, cook, or take my dog to the beach. My family is from Laos/Thailand but came to the United States after the Vietnam War and resettled in Fresno, CA where I spent most of my childhood growing up. After highschool, I moved out, started college and am currently in my third year in Theatre Arts!

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

I am new to modeling, however I learn various types of it through a production company that has different types of modeling and acting workshops which help prepare and guide me. I had no prior experience until I came upon them and learned from America’s Next Tops Models Laura James and Brittany Shauran about posing, knowing our angles, and how to work the runway! 

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to be a successful model/actor.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

I believe being your own kind of beautiful means to accept yourself the way you are. Learn what it is that brings out your laughter, what makes you smile, and self care. I believe those small things makes one beautiful. <3

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would say my fashion style is sporty and hipster, however, I’m always looking for new styles and different looks!

Who or what inspires you?

My mom inspires me the most because I’ve always seen her work, and still till this day, I’ve never seen her have a day off. 

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Be yourself and no matter how many rejections you get, keep striving forward!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I had to leave important things behind to focus and prioritize myself. I felt there was a time where I was always helping everyone around me, but it backfired when no one did the same for me. It changed me for the better and I gained wisdom from those circumstances but it makes you stronger.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I am most beautiful when I am stable and presenting my best self. :)

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Everyone is different. That’s the special part about ourselves is no one can take us from us and no one can replace us. You are made for this world for a reason, you were chosen!
