Tell us about yourself.
Hello! My name is Taya S, I am 18 years old, and I live in Central Florida. I love spending my free time snorkeling, canoeing, and volunteering at a local wildlife hospital. I have spent the past 3+ years learning American Sign Language, and I plan on transferring to UF for a degree in Wildlife Ecology & Conversation.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to become a Wildlife Biologist and to be able to support myself while doing what I love.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
I believe being your own kind of beautiful is to love an appreciate yourself as who you are.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I have been modeling from a young age for my dad who did photography as a hobby. Only last year did I start doing modeling professionally. I have been in a few photoshoots with Premiere Model Management and was an extra in an educational learning series.
What is your dream brand to model for?
My dream brand to model for would definitely be for brands like H&M, Urban Outfitters, and American Eagle
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style is all over the place, but I mainly wear thrifted vintage clothes.
How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?
I believe confidence is very important, because I've noticed I am able to achieve more things through confidence.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I believe my personality is a major part of who I am. I always try to show love and compassion to people and animals. This has lead me to make wonderful friends and allows people to feel comfortable enough to approach me when in need of comfort.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
You are beautiful, special, and unique no matter what anyone tells you! Always work on loving yourself, because the world is a much a happier place when you do. Something I found helpful with my confidence is finding something you are absolutely passionate about and by surrounding yourself with positive people that love you as who you are.
