Tell us about yourself.
My name is Alia, I am 23 years old, and I am from California. Having just moved here seeking new adventures with the Disney company, as I share my experiences and my ASL adventures; while raising awareness for the deaf and hard of hearing community. As for this new endeavor in modeling, I am excited to be a part of Hannah Noelle Models!
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream, is to inspire others to learn sign language and make the world more inclusive and accessible with my ever growing social media! I love using my platform and my language (American sign language) to show people the world through my eyes. I want people to use my social media, Sign Disney as a tool to learn sign language and about the deaf community!
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being your own kind of beautiful means living your life the way you know you want to live it. It means, being yourself every day and not caring what others think. A quote I often think of is, “You are you, that is truer than true, there is no on earth that is youer than you” ~ Dr. Seuss
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I have been modeling for about 4 years, and I love being able to just let my body flow and using the themes as a creative outlet to create something great is so much fun!
What is your dream brand to model for?
My dream brand to model for is, of course, Disney! My other dream brand is any sock brand such as; Rockem Socks, Kbell socks, Socksmith. I love socks and its market and niche is so unique, just like me!
How would you describe your fashion style?
My style is very Disney inspired! I love boho style dresses and two pieces, anything that screams light, airy and summer time vibes. I also love vintage clothing, I collect vintage dresses and wear them out to embrace my dapper side!
How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?
Having self awareness allows you be in touch with your strengths, weaknesses, and emotions. Being aware of those things can help you grow as an individual, and your growth to the best person you can be. Not only this, but is can help you understand others and how they perceive you. Keeping a positive, affirmative and understanding personality in this area will take one far. In doing so, confidence will soar and my confidence is becoming better every day.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I am beautiful because I choose to wake up and see the good and beauty in myself every day. Choosing to see
your own worth is the best thing one can do for themselves. Telling oneself that can help them start to
believe it.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Don’t sweat the small things, it can be hard, but if you can get past the small things more easily, then you will
be far more prepared for the bigger things. Push through self limiting beliefs, never confuse memory with
facts, think positively to overcome a negativity bias, and face your fears. If you do these things, you will
realize you are capable and deserving of a lot of amazing things!
