Tell us about yourself.
My name is Lily Pike and I am 17 years old. I'm from Tyler, Texas, and have an eye for art! I have been acting throughout my whole high school career and I love dance.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I don't have much previous modeling experience other than at my school, my teachers would make me model our theatre costumes. I finally have a chance at doing something that I love thanks to Hannah Noelle.
What is your biggest dream?
I hope to one day start my own beauty brand that is all about natural beauty and woman empowerment. Whether I am selling makeup, skincare, or clothes, I want it to all be about woman empowerment.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To me, it means being comfortable in your own skin. Everyone is beautiful and I really do believe that confidence is key and never feel as if you have to "fit into" trends.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style is all over the place, I think I choose a different aesthetic each day! I don't see why anyone needs to put themselves into one category of clothing.
Who or what inspires you?
My family is my main inspiration. When times were hard, they never failed to remind me to stay humble always.
What have been your greatest accomplishments?
My greatest accomplishment for me at this point of time is getting into my dream acting school. When I got the letter back saying I was accepted, that was the proudest moment I have ever felt.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
When I was a junior in high school I developed severe depression and got very self-conscious of how I looked. I dyed my hair to try and please people, I would starve myself in order to "fit in". One day my senior year it clicked in my head that I was beautiful. I got my body back and I don't feel bad about eating anymore.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
My confidence yet humbleness makes me beautiful. You don't have to have stick legs to be beautiful, you don't have to have perfect skin to be beautiful. You just have to be you.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Don't try and fit in with the trends nowadays. Trends change. You can only take so much change until you aren't even you anymore. Just because you don't look like Kendall Jenner doesn't mean that you aren't beautiful. It means that you aren't her. God made us all different for a reason. We are all beautiful.
