1) Tell us about yourself.
My name is Reagan, and I’m 14. I was born in California, but I’ve lived in Alabama, Texas, and New Mexico. I live with my parents and brother. I love animals. We have a cat and four dogs. I am a mini chicken farmer, I love hand raising baby chickens. I enjoy being in pageants and use to be a cheerleader. I love going to the beach, spending time outside, and spending time with my family.
2) Tell us about your modeling experience.
I started modeling when I was 11. I started out doing print work modeling. I have freelanced with many photographers and couture dresses are my favorite thing to model. Last year I started runway modeling and I’ve been fortunate to be able to walk for many designers in several cities.
3) What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to be able to work full time as a model. I would also like to go to go to cosmetology school and be an esthetician and makeup artist.
4) What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Beautiful is many things, but you are the most beautiful when you’re kind. Being kind to other humans, animals, and the Earth is beautiful.
5) How would you describe your fashion style?
My style depends on the day. Some days I might like to be super dressy with glam makeup, other days I like jeans and bodysuits. We live in such a fun time fashion wise. Don’t take yourself too seriously and just be yourself!
6) Who or what inspires you?
I’m inspired by a lot of different things. It can be a movie, a song, or even my dog. I love to put on music and just cook and dance.
7) What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Just don’t give up on your dream or let anyone tell you that you can’t do it. It is a lot of hard work. You have to get up and push yourself every single day.
8) Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
Having ADD/ADHD and anxiety has been a huge obstacle for a lot of things in my life. It’s hard having a learning disability and it makes me have to work harder academically than most people. A lot of people don’t think I’m friendly or that I’m being stuck up because of my anxiety. It can be an obstacle when I’m at a pageant or modeling job. But I’ve learned that these are just things make me unique.
9) What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I think that I’m a caring, loving person. I am compassionate and kind. I hope to inspire others around me in a positive light.
10) What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
I’ve struggled a lot with my confidence because of my anxiety. You can be your best self when you stop trying to be what other people want you to be. Focus on the things you love and surround yourself with the people that love you unconditionally.
