Tell us about yourself

Hi! My name is Kailey S. I’m 21 and from Atlanta, GA! I’m currently entering my senior year as a musical theatre major and dance minor at Otterbein University in Westerville, OH.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I have been modeling as a freelance model for the last six years. I’ve done a lot of commercial modeling, swimsuit modeling, and lifestyle work!

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to pursue a full-time career in musical theatre, modeling, and content creation!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To me, being your own kind of beautiful comes from within. The way that you treat others and present yourself means everything and that’s what truly makes a person beautiful.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style consists of a lot of athletic wear, menswear, and fun, bright colors (I especially love the color pink :)

Who or what inspires you?

My mom inspires me. She has always been my biggest supporter and my biggest role model. There is nobody else that I would rather get the opportunity to look up to and learn from!

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Be yourself and bring that into your daily work! Being yourself will take you so SO far and truly make a world of difference to you and the people around you!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I’ve dealt with some personal mental health challenges in the past as well as some tough relationships. Dealing with these challenges has helped give me perspective, allow myself to learn and grow, and really reflect on the person I currently am and the person I want to continue to become.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I think that my positivity and optimism makes me beautiful :)

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would say to enhance the qualities of yourself that you do feel confident in. There are many things that I still don’t feel fully confident in and being able to find those things that DO make me confident really help me in my day to day life!
