Tell us about yourself:

My name is Kristin Ditrano, I’m 20 years old from Long Island, New York. I’m currently a junior in college, working towards a degree in Nursing. Modeling has always been a dream of mine, and my passion for helping others led me to pursue nursing as well.

Tell us about your modeling experience:

I’ve been a freelance model up until signing with Hannah Noelle. I’ve done a few shoots with photographers in New York and have enjoyed all of the experiences I have had so far. I have a very open mind and learn quickly making it easy for me to adapt in different areas of modeling.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to become an established successful model. I aspire to build a career in both the fashion and modeling industry that allows me to showcase my talent and creativity. I am determined to work hard and continuously improve myself to turn this dream into a reality.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful means embracing who you are and expressing it without hesitation or fear. It is recognizing your own uniqueness and realizing true beauty lies in authenticity.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as eclectic. I like to experiment with different styles depending on the occasion. However, my every day go-to clothing is elevated athleisure.

Who or what inspires you?

I have a few people who inspire me in the modeling and fashion industry, such as Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Kate Moss. In my personal life, my mom is my biggest inspiration and the reason I have the confidence and drive I do today.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Advice I would give to someone who is starting modeling is be confident in themselves. Confidence is definitely key when it comes to modeling and helps you to stand out, face rejections, and adapt to the demands of the job.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

One major obstacle I’ve overcome in my life is dealing with anxiety. It was very challenging to manage everyday situation and maintain a positive outlook. Through mindfulness practices, affirmations, and building a strong support system I’ve learned to cope with my anxiety in a healthy way. My experience with anxiety has shaped me into a more understanding and compassionate person, both towards myself and others.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My love and passion for helping others is what truly defines my beauty. By making a positive impact and uplifting others, I find a deep sense of fulfillment and purpose.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

It’s normal to feel unsure of yourself at times but there is beauty in the fact that everyone’s journey is different. I would say in order to truly build one’s confidence you need to focus on your own journey, growth, and accomplishments big or small. Each person has so much to offer and your confidence will grow as you continue to embrace your true self.
