Tell us about yourself:

I’m 23 years old, and I live in Columbia, South Carolina. I’m currently in school to become a radiologist technician. I love going hiking and being outdoors. Taking care of my plants is another way I like to relax. I grew up dancing and fell in love with being on stage in front of an audience. The adrenaline each time always left me wanting more. Being in front of the camera gives me the same feeling.

Tell us about your modeling experience:

I have been modeling for 7 months now and it’s been an absolute dream. I went to a studio to get my portfolio done, and had such an incredible time. I have done a couple shoots with photographers to add to my portfolio as well.

What is your biggest dream?

To become successful with my passion for modeling. It would be a dream to become a petite runway model and walk in a NYFW, Paris, or Milan show.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Be true to who you are. Everyone is unique and different in their own way and that’s what’s so special, no one can be the same. Be confidently you and let it shine inside and out. Happiness radiates and I believe when you love yourself for who you are, it gives you an incredible shine.

Describe your fashion style:

I love staying trendy, normally putting my own twists on the outfits. Changing things up every few months is normally my flow. I tend to stick with more neutral colors, but I do love to stand out, so my jewelry and hair must match the vibe I’m going for.

Who or what inspires you?

Would be my mom and dad. They have given me endless support for my passions and wants in life and have never let me believe they’re unreachable. I wouldn’t be where I am now without the support I get from them. Anything you want is achievable with enough consistency and patience.

What advise would you give to someone who is just getting started in their modeling career?

Just be yourself and never doubt your limits. Be dedicated and work hard, don’t let anyone or anything hold you back.

What obstacles have you faced and how have they changed you?

My mental health during dance. One of my happiest times in life was also one of my hardest. It began to affect not only dance but my entire thought process. Everything got difficult and anxiety took over even the smallest tasks. I learned to love myself for me, not comparing myself to others. Everyone is different and the differences make us who we are. I am grateful for having this experience and I feel more connected to myself from this. I wouldn’t have the mental awareness and confidence I have now without those experiences.

What makes you beautiful?

My heart makes me beautiful. I believe beauty comes from within. Having a kind, loving soul makes you shine. Making people feel seen, heard, and loved always lightens me up.That's when I feel the most beautiful inside and out.

What would you tell someone who is struggling with their confidence?

Confidence comes from within and it starts with self love. Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to grow. Everyone feels insecure sometimes, but it's how we navigate those thoughts that will change your confidence. Don’t let fear hold you back.
