Tell us about yourself :
I’m 23 years old and I’m from Long Island, New York. I love spending most of my free time with my friends and family, practicing self-care, and spending time outdoors. I’m the eldest of three girls and my sisters are my best friends. I currently attend SUNY Oswego as a full-time pre-law student in hopes of attending Law School after I graduate in May of 2025. I also run a small business called Shop Gabriella Marie selling jewelry as a passion project!
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I’ve been a freelance model for small Instagram-based brands since my mid-teens but I’ve never been represented or signed before! I’ve worked and collaborated with brands like Pretty Little Thing, Victoria’s Secret, Jimmi Swimwear, Lounge Clothing, EGO, Apres Beauty, and more, and I’m super excited to learn more about the rest of the industry and boost my experience.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to help women be more confident in their own skin. I love the feeling of making a positive and/or powerful impact on someone, I feel like I was almost born to be a healer. I want to be the one who helps others see and appreciate their own beauty.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being your own kind of beautiful means embracing your true inner self, and treating others with kindness and respect. It does not matter what you look like on the outside - having a beautiful soul is what matters the most.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My style is a mix between minimalist and trendy. I love clean and neutral colors like black, white, and tan. I usually only wear bright colors in my accessories. I also have a jewelry obsession and rarely leave the house without some sort of gold jewelry on.
Who or what inspires you?
My mom has always been my inspiration. My mom taught me how to trust myself and know my worth. Throughout my life, she’s clapped so loud for me that I couldn’t notice who wasn’t. She had to fill and play many roles to support my sisters and me growing up, and everything I am today is because of her support.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
I would say to just have fun! At the end of the day, it will always be a learning experience and everyone has room to continuously grow. Try some self-confidence practices like practicing your poses in the mirror, learning to get more comfortable in front of the camera, etc. Find a pretty white wall and have a friend take some photos of you!
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
My parents divorced when I was really young. Due to this, I took on the role of becoming more involved with my younger sister, who was 2 at the time, to try to ease the workload on my overworked mother in any way I could by babysitting, learning how to cook simple meals and more. It was almost like I grew up at a really young age but I’m appreciative of it because I’m now a hardworking and responsible young woman. This taught me so much responsibility, as well as teaching me how to be appreciative of what I have and to never take family for granted.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
What makes me beautiful is how I carry myself and treat others. I show beauty through my words, my kind actions towards others, and my respectful nature. I’m good-hearted and try to see the good/beauty in everyone and everything. I stay true to myself and to others and I think that’s the most beautiful thing about me.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
I would suggest trying a few self-confidence exercises! Simple habits like setting small daily goals, acknowledging your strengths, and lots of self-care can go a long way. Whenever I’m going through some rough patches with my confidence, I like to carve out some time for maybe a nice bath, get my nails done, do some journaling, and more.
