Tell us about yourself

My name is Katherin B, I’m 22 years old and I was born and raised Medellin Colombia. I moved to the states when I was 11 and I’m fully bilingual.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I don’t have much of a “modeling experience” but, when I was 15 I did a little bit of modeling at the company John Casablanca in Scottsdale, Arizona but left couple months after to focus on school.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to be on the Cover of vogue magazine

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

It means to love myself and believe who I am inside out with complete confidence.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I don’t have a specific fashion style it usually depends on my mood for the day but, I like to dress classic and minimalist.

Who or what inspires you?

My mom inspires me to be a better version of myself everyday and to NEVER give up. She’s been my role model since I was a little girl.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice is to be confident in who you are and own it when you walk into any room. Do research, practice, find your unique style and never give up.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

An obstacle that I overcame in my life is when I wanted to do modeling. A lot of people kept telling me that I wasn’t skinny enough, tall enough or pretty enough and I decided to ignore what people said and kept going. It doesn’t matter how I look on the outside what matters is the confidence/ energy that I can bring into a room and people can feel it.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My confidence, kindness, intelligence, and the way i carry myself as a whole.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would support them, praise their efforts, and give them genuine compliments. One thing that I tell my friends who are struggling with confidence is that you can never alter the past what you can do is change who you are right now and going forward. You can’t show me or touch the past so why reminiscence on that. Be a better version of yourself than you we’re the day prior.
