Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

Hi Hannah Noelle Family,

I’m Mia, a 27 year old native from Tampa, FL! Outside of photo shoots and runway shows I enjoy dancing and listening to electronic music. People closest to me call me fun, funny and very energetic. I love living life to the fullest and enjoy maintaining a happy and healthy lifestyle. I am constantly striving to be the best version of myself and I do so by working out, meditating and staying in touch with my faith to have a conscious constant with my higher power.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I started modeling when I was 13 and wish I had started sooner! I knew immediately that this was what I wanted to put all my focus towards. After moving to New York City, I have walked for multiple different designers every New York Fashion Week and have featured in a few magazines such as i-Fashion Magazine and MAXI magazine. I also design my own photo shoots and collaborations as well to create more art and showcase new styles into the fashion world.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to pursue all of my dreams while helping others along the way. Specifically, I would like to work and walk for high end fashion brands such as Dior, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Miu Miu, Fenty and Victoria’s Secret just to name a few. I’ve also always wanted to have my own modeling agency! I would like to support aspiring models in starting their careers safely and successfully. Drawing from my own challenges and experiences during my early years in the industry, I'm passionate about guiding others on their journey.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being my own kind of beautiful is being kind to others as well as myself by embracing my body and mind regardless of what society says.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is very on trend and I am constantly changing things up to wear new and unique outfits. You will find me wearing all black most days and I LOVE getting all dressed up for a nice evening from time to time.

Who or what inspires you?

Honestly, I am so inspired by Hannah! I have always harbored ambitions to establish my own modeling agency and am particularly inspired by her diligent efforts after modeling herself. Besides her hard work, I also admire that she is a believer of Jesus Christ. Faith is very important to me so that was just the icing on the cake when deciding to sign with her agency.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to someone who is just getting started as a model would be to look out for shysters because people will try to take advantage of you in this industry. Know your worth and continue to build a portfolio to showcase your talents. Be patient and stay consistent. Don’t get down on yourself for not being chosen or accepted for a show or casting call. If this happens, it doesn’t mean you’re not worth it, it just wasn’t the right fit because someone, somewhere, someday, will see you exactly as you are and will love your look.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to take an extended hiatus from modeling. It was one of the lowest points of my life because I wasn’t able to actively pursue my dream. Eventually, I was able to move to New York City to model and became a full time resident in my dream city! Being able to work through this and come out successful on the other side was a huge accomplishment for me and truly showed how strong I am. I believe that anything you want in this life you can have, you just have to try really hard to get it.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

The most beautiful thing about a person is how humble they are.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

If anyone is struggling with their confidence, my advice to you would be to allow yourself to feel your feelings and know that feelings aren’t always facts. Go to the gym, eat healthy and nutritious foods, give back, get in touch with your faith, and surround yourself with people who are responsible and enjoy you for exactly who you are. When you find confidence within yourself, you will never search elsewhere to fulfill that need or feeling inside.
