Hello, my name is Bailey L. I am 20 years old and live in Michigan, United States. I am a gemini, I love learning about my horoscope and I find it to be true to me. I love fashion, playing video games, being healthy and finding new ways to be creative.

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

I have been modeling since January 2023. I attended John Casablancas modeling school for 5 months. I have done numerous fashion shows and photoshoots. At a young age I was taught how to runway because my mother was a model before she had me. I have always loved to have photos of myself, I feel like modeling is a great fit for me. 

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to be in Bazaar magazine and walk in New York Fashion Week. 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be my own kind of beautiful means to love who I am inside and out and to feel confident no matter what.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I love fashion, I don’t settle with just one aesthetic. I like to explore and try new things. I love to thrift for my clothes and get a lot of my inspiration from New York. 

Who or what inspires you?

My family inspires me. They push me to keep chasing my dreams. They have always believed in me and give me the motivation to grow daily. 

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Trust the process. Modeling is like a waiting game, you may not get every job you want and that’s okay because something better will come.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I did not have the best childhood, lots of ups and downs. I lived in a small town where everyone was just comfortable doing the same thing everyday, but I wanted more. My mother moved our family to a bigger city and I could finally start to chase more of my dreams. Since then I’ve never settled for being comfortable, I enjoy being uncomfortable because it creates change.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

Self love and confidence. Without it I wouldn’t radiate the energy that I need to feel beautiful. 

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

You’re beautiful in your own way and you just have to find that within yourself. No one looks the same and that’s the beauty of it. Beautifulness starts within and once you find it you’ll find you’re good looking on the outside too.
