My name is Carolina Alejandra Garcia I am 19 years old and I’m from Rio Grande City. Fashion and dance are my passions.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I’ve been modeling since I was 3 years old. I first started with pageants and slowly shifted to the runway. I have participated in New York fashion week and modeled for “oh okay apparel“.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to have a great career in fashion and be able to travel the world.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To me, being your own kind of beautiful means to be yourself. It’s so important to accept all your flaws and insecurities. You were put into this world for a purpose. Do not feel intimidated by others. Everyone is beautiful in there own way.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would describe my fashion as very casual but I can also be very classy and elegant.
Who or what inspires you?
My family inspires me to be a better person every day and to push forward through any obstacle in life even if it’s the hardest one I’ve encountered.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
My advice to someone who is just starting to model is to be patient and not give up on their dreams. Stay true to yourself and believe in yourself no matter what others think.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I have been told multiple times that someone my height will never be able to model for high fashioned brands. It was really hard to hear that but that didn’t bring me down. I thought on the positive side and here I am.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I would say the way I carry myself. This makes me strong, elegant, smart, determined, and caring.
What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Don’t be too hard on yourself. You are your biggest critic no one judges the way you are only yourself. Take things step-by-step. Fake it till you make it and no one will tell the difference.
