Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I am from Tucson, AZ and recently moved to Flagstaff, AZ for college. I am 19 years old and am really into fashion and the outdoors. I’ve always been fond of the modeling industry and keeping up with fashion and a healthy lifestyle are a few things I enjoy.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I’ve never modeled before , and I'm just getting started. I know it’ll be a fun and amazing journey. I love learning new skills and having new experiences and I think the modeling industry is a great space to get those experiences and skills.
What is your biggest dream?
I’ve always dreamed about working in the fashion industry, I just wanna be successful in whatever i do and enjoy life.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being your own kind of beautiful is being yourself and expressing yourself through your uniqueness. Owning your body and flaws and making something beautiful out of it. Their is only one you and you are your own biggest critic, so once you membrane your own beauty nothing can stand in your way!
How would you describe your fashion style?
I don't think I have a specific fashion style. I like a little bit of everything. All the way from trying on clothes out of my comfort zone to the most basic outfit you can think of. Whatever style I'm feeling that day is what I end up wearing.
Who or what inspires you?
A lot of things inspire me like the gym, nature, good music, but a person who inspires me would be my aunt, she is a very hard working woman who doesn’t take nonsense from anyone. She has shown me right from wrong growing up and I am very grateful for that.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
As someone who is also new to the industry I would say staying true to yourself and never giving up when it gets hard, everyone is in the same boat at the end of the day.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I have had a lot of heartbreak and let down within my childhood due to family problems, And it was really hard and lonely, but it pushed me to be there for myself because I knew if i couldn’t count on anyone around me at least I could count on myself. With that I am very motivated to make a better life for myself.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I would say the way I carry myself with my head on my shoulders. This makes me a strong, determined, caring woman and cares deeply for others whether I've known you for years or I just met you.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
I said it once and i'll say it again, You are your biggest critic no one judges you the way you judge yourself. We are too hard on ourselves sometimes and when this happens we need to remember how beautiful we are. Even if you aren’t feeling the most confident, Fake it til you make it no one will be able to tell the difference and after a while you won't be faking it anymore.
