My name is Chelsey Lenis I am 22 years old and I am from Florida. I love music I enjoy anything that is artistic singing, dancing , acting. At the moment I am learning how to play guitar.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I started getting into modeling at 20 and I started going to an academy and I also worked with a mother agency.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to expand my modeling career and along the way get into different experiences with either dancing or even a little bit of acting. I also plan on becoming an interior designer. But I do think that my biggest dream overall is to join charity’s & make donations such as St. Jude’s Children Hospital , or helping wildlife , or also getting involved with our environment globally.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
What it means to be my own kind of beautiful is to love myself , to take care of myself , and to be who I am and also not changing anything about myself for anyone other than myself but the most important thing is to respect yourself.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would describe my fashion style to be more in the moment kind of fashion depending what I am up to or where I am going.
Who or what inspires you?
My family inspires me to be a better person everyday to push forward through anything in life even at the most hardest. I am the type of person that I like to maintain positive to overcome what you need to and just to have fun enjoy life and live to the fullest. Artistically for who inspires me I have a lot Selena Quintanilla , Selena Gomez , Whitney Houston, Usher etc … and more !
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
My advice to someone who is just starting modeling is to be patient to not give up also not worry about what other people say. Their will be a lot of no’s a lot of people who might want to judge you but staying true to yourself is important and also believing you can and overall I think surrounding yourself with people who are positive who are supportive is important to.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
When I first started modeling people around me In fact my parents weren’t as supportive with what I was doing because I did leave school for a while but at this chapter of my life I was on my own I moved out I started making more decisions on my own I felt like I just had to stop making other people around me happy and instead focus on making myself happy and I think for the longest time I wanted to make my parents proud of me because they have always worked so hard to give me the best life they could so I just felt the need to put them first instead of me but at the end of the day you grow up and you just have to take responsibility of your own life and whether or not they supported me I kept going with what I was doing and not looking back at anything just looking towards the future and well now they fully support me and they couldn’t be anymore proud.
What makes you beautiful/ handsome?
What makes me beautiful is my personality I think I am the type of person who is always caring about people who just doesn’t just see the bad side of someone but sees everything. I have never liked to judge anyone we as humans are equal and we have to respect one another.
What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?
What I would say to someone who is struggling with confidence is to remember that you are your own person and you are beautiful you are worthy and that you are loved no matter what personally I have been in that situation and almost if not everyone has those moments but that you are never alone.
