My name is Kristina Ortiz, I am 24 years young. I was born and raised in Los Angeles county California, but recently moved to Dallas Fort Worth, TX for a few years.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I did a little modeling ever since high school & loved it! I have professional training from modeling, pageants & even theatre arts. I love performing & I have been a dancer & cheerleader while growing up!
What is your biggest dream?
To get numerous opportunities in the modeling or entertainment industry, it comes so naturally to me! I love being on camera either posing or acting!
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To be uniquely yourself and have the confidence in everything you do in life.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I love dressing up and getting all dolled up, but I also love kicking it in sneakers and sweatpants!
Who or what inspires you?
Not to sound cliche, but myself, I am my biggest supporter & I know what I can achieve, the sky is the limit.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling..
No matter what anyone else says about you or if you’re too tall or too short or anything in between, keep going and keep striving. If you have a dream and you want to go far, the only one stopping you is yourself. Get out there & keep trying no matter what happens! Life is too short to regret anything & to not take chances coming your way!
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
I have gone through so much from losing loved ones, struggling with self confidence, but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Modeling & being in front of the camera brings out my personality & genuinely makes me happy and confident in myself. I feel so empowered & stronger than ever before!
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
Being myself & treating everyone around you with kindness. My heart makes me beautiful & I tend to lead with that.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
No one is perfect, embrace yourself & do things to make you feel good about it. We all have our own imperfections that make us who we are & there’s nothing to be ashamed of.
