Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

I have always been passionate about creating and being an inspiration to others. My hobbies include,

Painting, creating my own clothes, creating makeup looks, beauty and designing. I am from Tampa Florida, born and raised and grew up always being optimistic and looking for ways I can be part or creating around me. I’m currently in college working towards my AS(Associates in Science Degree) for architecture.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

Personally, I have not had much experience with modeling but I create ways to portray my creative skills into photos whether it be of myself, or nature around me.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to be an inspiration around me, pursuing my career goals in architecture and design  and going beyond what I feel capable of and creating ways to display my art in many forms.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful is not what’s physically on the outside but your demeanor, personality, how we as a community can build each other up and spread kindness. I see kindness and compassion as most beautiful.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is mostly what is currently trending at the time but I create ways to incorporate my own taste into the fits I create. I love minimal looks such as neutral colors with pops of color that add my personal look I am going for.

Who or what inspires you?

My inspiration derives from influencers around me that are not only giving beauty or fashion tips, but those who make known that everyone is beautiful and unique in their own way. One in particular would have to be emma chamberlain who has created a career based on being her own unique self, fashion and blogger. She uses her platform to inspire such a diverse audience and portray her own creative ways as well into it.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My biggest piece of advice I could give anyone is to remember that no one is you. Everyone is unique in their own way and instead of being influenced by social media in a negative way that affects your self esteem, to remember that you have something special, your own unique self that you chose to portray to the world.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Given that social media has its pros and cons, I would have to say one major obstacle I’ve had to face is how much I used to say “I wish I looked like this” “I wish I didn’t have that”, and all the negative outcomes of comparing myself to others. I have come to realize everyone criticizes themselves and sees flaws in themselves that others find beautiful and truly unique. I have been blessed with coming to terms and realizing I need to surround myself with positive energy around me in order to build each other up instead of surrounding myself with people who tear each other down.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

Being able to express my kindness and understand those around me. I build myself up and make sure I stop comparing myself to others in order to feel beautiful. I love to embrace my body, hair, and face because  it’s what makes me, me.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

If you are struggling with low confidence, ask yourself, who and what are you surrounding yourself with? If the answer is people constantly criticizing others and not having anything kind to say, then it’s most likely not the best environment for you. Make sure you surround yourself with those who make you feel beautiful and uplift each other with kindness. As a community we need to understand the importance of environments we put ourselves in and what will lift us up rather than tear us down.
