Tell us about yourself.

I am from Wilmington, NC and am 25 years old. I graduated from UNC Wilmington and am currently attending Messiah University's Masters in Occupational Therapy program and will graduate in 2024. In my free time, I love to run, attend barre classes, and sing/play piano.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I am new to modeling but recently signed with Everything Formals Model Management and have been in one shoot in Manhattan.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream would to be in a movie or to start my own business.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To me, being your own kind of beautiful means that everyone is beautiful in their own way. I don't think beauty should be defined by a particular look, but I think that everyone has beautiful qualities, both inside and out.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as varied, depending on where I am going or on my mood for the day. I love to dress up and would say that, overall, I have a pretty classic but minimalistic style. I also often wear running clothes, as working out is something I really enjoy. I would say at times I also dress in clothes that are comfortable but cute. I would say most of my clothes come from gap or H & M.

Who or what inspires you?

As for the person that most inspires me, I would have to say that it is my uncle. He is the hardest worker I know and started his own business about 30 years ago. He really started with nothing and was told repeatedly he wouldn't be successful, but now he is one of the most successful people I know.

What advise would you give someone who is just starting out in modeling?

Although I am still new to modeling, I would tell anyone who is just getting started to never let your fears stop you from trying. You will be rejected, but that is okay. I think that you have to really persevere if it is something you want, and hard work really does pay off. I think that you have to really learn to filter out the bad and the criticism and focus on the positive things. I know this is easier said than done.

Tell us about some obstacles you have overcome

A few years ago, I worked at the hospital as a phlebotomist/rehab tech. I would say this job really shaped me into who I am today and made me a much stronger person. Working during covid was a big obstacle for everyone at the hospital at the time, so I would say working on a team and with people who are sick really helped me to grow and changed my view of life. Working overnight during hurricanes was also a huge challenge but is something that also made me stronger and taught me a lot.

What makes you beautiful?

I believe I have inner and outer qualities that make me beautiful. I really love others and think that my positive attitude really shows to people that I am around. I would say that I am a pretty happy person and this makes me more beautiful to others.

What would you say to someone who is struggling with their confidence?

I would say that not to compare yourself to others is the best advice. We all have something to offer, and your journey is not the same as someone else's journey. We each live very different lives and I believe have different roles in life.
