Tell us about yourself

I'm from Atlanta, GA., I'm 20 years old.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I've been doing freelance modeling for about 4 years now and favor beauty, editorial, and fashion modeling.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is that one day the modeling industry will be as inclusive as your agency is and help everyone to love themselves. I want to be the model that breaks the typical body type requirements and help others gain enough confidence to pursue what they love one day and feel comfortable in their own skin.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful to me means that you're unapologetically yourself no matter what comes your way and feeling like you love yourself to the fullest.

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style ranges from editorial, grunge, high fashion, etc. I'm open to all types of fashion.

Who or what inspires you?

My mother who has her masters in Cosmetology is my inspiration and has always pushed me to be myself to the fullest extent as a creative.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Be flexible and open to criticism. You will never know everything and always have room to grow as an artist. Be teachable.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I was always told because of my body type and being blind in one eye that I could never be a model but my goal is to break the toxic model stereotype most know because everyone deserves to love themselves and have an opportunity in this industry if they should choose to do so.  Being told this hurt but I didn't give up and have been fighting for what I believe in for years now. The industry is changing, slowly, but still making progress.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I would say if I had to choose one thing that I personally believe makes me beautiful it would be my personality and ability to give to those I care for endlessly.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Confidence takes time and it's okay to not always feel that way. Just believe in yourself and keep working towards your goals and one day you'll get to a point where you feel content with who and where you are. It takes time and is an ongoing journey throughout life.
