Tell us about yourself

I am from Albania, I’ve moved to America since I was 9 years old. I am 19 years old now and have two older siblings.

Tell us about your modeling experience

I have modeled in a couple of shows in New York fashion week. One for Carlos Benguigui, a famous and well known Venezuelan designer and also for the Fashion Designers of Latin America.

I have worked with the famous Albanian American photographer located in NYC Fadil Berisha. In Michigan where I currently live I have modeled in multiple boutique stores & had different photoshoots for small businesses.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to become famous and to be an influencer for all the young aged kids who have dreams just like me. If I make it big I want to help everybody with a dream reach their modeling dreams. I think everyone in this world deserves a chance and all it takes is one yes from one particular person.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful means to be yourself daily 100%. You shouldn’t have to change a thing about you just because people don’t like it. Judgements will never end from people and regardless if they’re good or bad judgments it shouldn’t stop anybody from being their own kind of beautiful (themselves).

How would you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is very extra, flashy, extravagant, unique, one in a million style.

Who or what inspires you?

Celebrities that are very down to earth with people and their fans really do inspire me. It reminds me that they too weren’t always famous and didn’t always have the famous beautiful life they have now. It reminds me that we are all human and we all start from something & somewhere.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Never give up, keep going don’t ever stop, your going to spend a lot in the beginning but if you don’t give up and you chase after your dream, it will be 100% worth it. You will get so many no’s in life but all you need is one YES.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

Moving to America at such a young age has really been difficult for me. I moved here with my parents and my siblings and didn’t speak one word of English. It was very hard going through each day getting bullied, not understanding the subjects, not having any friends at such a young age. But I think everything happens for a reason because that has really made me stronger in so many ways. I want to become famous and tell my story to the million kids that are struggling with the same problems and give them courage by telling them everything will work out and be okay.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My personality and my hair.

I think personality has to be amazing because it will take you a very long way. And my hair is long, I’ve been letting it grow for about a year now and I’ve gotten some blonde highlights. I always get compliments for my hair.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would say don’t let peoples judgments bring you down. I think everyone has something unique about them and they should take advantage of it by showing it off.
