Tell us about yourself

My name is Kathleen, and I was born in Florida and raised in Philadelphia. I'm 24 years old. I attended LaSalle University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in both marketing and criminal justice. Traveling and experiencing different cultures are among my favorite pleasures in life.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I have experience working with photographers for fashion, glamour, and advertising shoots and have been published as a model.

What is your biggest dream?

My greatest dream would be to walk the runway during Miami Swim Week and New York Fashion Week. I dream to be a full-time model, and hope to become well-known in this industry.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

You must surpass the traditional norms of what is attractive in order to be your own kind of beautiful. The term and your own individuality become yours to govern. To me, the phrase "to be your own kind of beautiful" means that beauty is not only a matter of external appearance but also refers to the person's whole attributes.

How would you describe your fashion style?

Depending on the season, my fashion taste changes. I enjoy mixing and matching various colors, and I enjoy dressing in satin or vintage-style clothing.

Who or what inspires you?

My mother is a constant source of inspiration for me. She gave me the world and more, and she raised me to be the person I am today. As a result, I owe her everything and everything I do, including pursuing success in life, is done for her.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
I would advise posting what makes you happy and comfortable; you'll find your audience. Work hard, get in touch with several photographers, and submit applications repeatedly. Your closest ally is you, and only you have the power to work hard for what you desire.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

To quit comparing my life to others was one of the obstacles I overcame in my life. Each person walks a distinct path, that moves at a different pace. My mood improved and my mindset improved once I quit doing this. I started recognizing what was successful for me and not for others.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I feel my optimism and personality make me beautiful. Even on my worst days, I am still okay because I know that God has a plan for me. I don't let anything get in the way of my attitude.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Someone my age who is having confidence issues should take a moment and think about what makes them feel good about themselves. They should love themselves because they are absolutely beautiful and should never let what other people say affect them.
