Hello everyone, my name is Abigail Reynolds and I am beyond grateful to be given this opportunity. I am 19 years old and I live in Richmond, Va. 

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

I have never modeled for an agency before, but I grew up watching every big modeling event there was hoping to be just like those girls on tv. I’ve learned some tips and tricks over the years about modeling which I find very helpful. 

What is your biggest dream? 

My biggest dream is being “successful” in life. That is a very common answer but it means something special to me. Being successful is more than achieving goals and to me it is everything I learn on the way. The journey that leads to the success is what makes it a success. 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Many people view beautiful as thin and perfect but perfect is overrated. I truly believe everyone is beautiful not because of how they look but how they express themselves for who they are. Everyone has flaws and those flaws are beautiful.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as beautiful. Beauty comes from within and I use that emotion through my fashion style to inspire others to be themselves. 

Who or what inspires you?

My mother is my true inspiration. She has never given up on me and truly understands me for who I am. A mother and daughter relationship is very powerful and full of love. I am very blessed to have my mother as an inspiration.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice is to be yourself and go for it. Do what makes you happy and never look back. Never forget the journey that got you where you are today and keep going onto being successful!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

One major obstacle I had to face was when I was 9 years old. My family and I moved to a different city and everything was different. I knew nobody and was completely upset at how hard change can be. Soon after, I met some of the most amazing people and wouldn’t change a thing. Moving to a new city taught me that change can be a good thing and now I am always open to new possibilities!

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I believe the way I express myself is what makes me beautiful. I have a good heart with great intentions and I use that to inspire others around me. 

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would say that they are beautiful just the way they are. Not because of how they look but because of their personality, emotions, intentions, and flaws. Every one of those things makes us human and people are beautiful just the way they are.
