Hello, I am Katelynn Sinegal, I am from Lafayette, Louisiana and I currently live in Broussard, Louisiana. I’m currently in school majored in Criminal Justice. I love working out and keeping my body right and I always maintain self care.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

Honestly, my modeling experience has been really good! I’ve modeled in Acadiana Fashion Week last month in Lafayette, La. I’ve also, modeled in Coastal Fashion week in New Orleans. Based on my height, I usually do print modeling, and runway. I love modeling for clothing lines. I’ve recently modeled for Moxi Boutique in Baton Rouge.I have plenty experience from runway modeling and print! I love it.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is get my face out there just like every other published model, I’m going to continue working hard to my face on a cover of a magazine and pursue and succeed in my modeling career just like Tara banks, Naomi Campbell! It will happen My biggest dream is to get my face on Aeropostale walls in the mall and billboards from clothing boutiques and magazine covers.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful means accepting who you are and your flaws. You have to be confident and love who you are. If God made us all the same that would be so boring. You have to accept who you are and appreciate every little thing about you. That’s very important.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style is elegant, simple and relatable. I love elegant looks.

Who or what inspires you?

My mother inspires me a lot, she motivates me so much to be who I am today.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to them, is start your portfolio with a good photographer that you willing to book with 24/7, first thing is to take your digitals, no makeup or jewelry, wear only black and get side, front, back and headshot photos and research good agencies and if you get good information, send your digitals to them. I would also say practice self care, and self love. You have to have self care and self love in order to be a model. You have to be dedicated, no procrastination. Make sure to sign with a agency that’s best fit for you.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

We’ll April was a rough month for me because my great grandmother passed away and then I submitted to an agency that I’ve always wanted to book with and I got turned around. I was really sad, but then again you have to realize not every modeling agency will think your a good fit for them. You can be beautiful, with the nicest body and still get declined! It doesn’t mean your not a good looking model. It’s just that agency wasn’t for me. So it made me stronger as a person and more confident because I know who I am. What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My face, body and personality make me very beautiful.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I would say, “You got this, you are amazing and keep shining and never give up. Don’t down yourself!”
