Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
I was born and raised in Colorado and now I travel from Colorado to Arizona every year for college. I am studying to work in the medical field. They are both home to me now! I am 20 years old. Aside from playing volleyball, I absolutely love getting all glammed up and posing for the camera. I love to experiment with different makeup and hairstyles. I love going to the mountains and the beach has a special place in my heart.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I have been approached by a few modeling agencies and felt as though it was not the right time to start for me, but now I feel like I am in a great place to start my journey. I have had a few interviews with other agencies, but felt I needed to mature more before I began. Hannah Noelle Models is the first major agency I have signed with.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to help and inspire others. Whether that be through helping someone through medicine or giving another girl confidence and assurance through my modeling. My goal is to show others that once you get past the toughest critic, yourself, you can achieve anything.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Being your own kind of beautiful, to me, means being true to your morals and beliefs. Being beautiful is embracing the body and life that God has given you and using that to glorify Him.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would describe my everyday fashion style as casual. I like to be comfortable in what I am wearing while also feeling confident and beautiful. I love to accessorize. Whether that be with bold shoes, or dainty jewelry.
Who or what inspires you?
I am inspired by my dad. My dad works two jobs and always makes time to spend with our family. He is always looking for ways to make my life easier. He is selfless and will always put everyone before himself. My dad is my biggest supporter in everything I do.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
My advice to someone who is beginning their modeling journey is to look for that confidence in themselves before they begin. There is no rush! It is totally okay to wait until you are fully comfortable to begin.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
Throughout my life I have dealt with a lot of bullying. It started when I was in 6th grade and progressively got worse until I made the decision to switch schools because I could not handle it. After a while, I realized that I needed to be proud of my body and who I was. I needed to be confident in the beautiful body that God gave me. Once I realized this it changed my life.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
Something that makes me beautiful is my compassion and patience for others.
What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?
To someone struggling with confidence I would say it is so important to remember that God has created everyone perfectly and uniquely. God makes no mistakes. Be proud of your body and show the world what you have to offer!
