My name is Gabrielle LaPlant. I am 15 years old and from Pensacola, Florida. For as long as I can remember, I’ve not only dreamt of becoming a model, but also an inspiration to other individuals.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

When I was in my childhood years, I did several beauty pageants and also modeled for a clothing boutique. My sisters and I will take pictures from time to time as well!

What is your biggest dream?

When I first found out about Victoria’s Secret, I knew that my dream was to walk in one of their fashion shows. Other than that, my main desire is to make it into the modeling industry.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

God created everyone to be unique in their own special way. Being your own kind of beautiful is to simply be yourself and express who you truly are.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would say my fashion style is trendy and streetwear. It can sometimes consist of casual.

Who or what inspires you?

My mom and two sisters inspire me. They have always believed in me and never gave up on me. They have helped me love myself and gain confidence. I owe it all to them.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice is to be confident and be yourself. The only way you fail, is if you give up. If you fall along the way, get back up and strive forward. Anything is possible if you believe and stay true to yourself.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

The biggest obstacle I’ve overcome is my parent’s divorce. The end of their marriage has done multiple damages to me mentally, but I never let it define who I was as a person. It was painful and heartbreaking. It took all I had to cope with the fact that I only have a mother who still struggles to this day to make sure my sisters and I are healthy. Since then, I have been left with the feeling of loneliness and abandonment. Even though their split has been a negative input in my life, I have grown tremendously in my personal life in every way possible.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

I am one of God’s creations.

What would you say to another guy/girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love. Nobody is perfect. Your inner self is so much more valuable than your appearance. There is only one you. Hold your head up high.
