Tell us about your modeling experience. 

I’ve been modeling for a little under two years now and my goal is to really get my face out there and work with big brands.

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to walk Miami swim week. I would do anything to get an opportunity like that.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

I think being your own kind of beautiful means owning your imperfections. 

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would have to describe my fashion style as cute or interesting.

Who or what inspires you?

Everyone I have met inspires me in one way or another. I think the person who inspires me the most is Luptia Nyong’o. I love how she has a dark complexion like me and isn’t super tall also like me but still made it in the industry.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

Keep going, it’s hard whenever you come across a road block to find the motivation to keep going but you’ve gotta learn to pick yourself up and keep going.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

I grew up in the US after spending most of my detrimental development years in Ghana, Africa. I was bullied really harshly in school but I think it’s shaped me into the person I am now.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My dark skin tone makes me beautiful and exotic all wrapped up in one.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

Everyone is beautiful in their own way. Just because one person or group of people can’t see it doesn’t mean someone else just right around the corner won’t take one look at you and think your the most beautiful person they’ve ever seen.
