I was born and raised in Omaha, NE. I am 21 years old. I am super fun & spontaneous. I love to travel, shop and enjoy the beach. I am a foodie and love trying new things in all aspects. I am adventurous and enjoy a good thrill! I own an online boutique called Boujee Beautique and also offer interior design services called FurFash Co.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
When I first decided I wanted to model, was when I was a pageant girl at 14. Since then, i've done tons of unique and fun shoots with many models and photographers. I've walked for my local fashion week and i've also been an extra for Black Ink Crew Chicago.
What is your biggest dream?
To be able to model and be an entrepreneur full-time. Inspire women all over. To help other girls and women who aspire to model. I can't wait to help women find their confidence and educate models about all the things i've learned over the years.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Not only do I think beauty is within, but it is also what each person believes it to be. What one defines as beauty may not be what the next does. I believe beauty is confidence and owning yourself and everything that comes with being you. Staying true to yourself and owning your flaws.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would definitely say my style is based on my mood. I don't feel as if I have a specific type of style. I think I can rock anything and just wear what I think I look best in. I try to be trendy but also throw in what I love as well.
Who or what inspires you?
Tabria Majors, I think she's an amazing model and super versatile and has an amazing personality. She's definitely one of my role models in the modeling industry.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Be confident. Own the room when going to castings because casting directors can see the difference between a confident model and one without. Also be very weary of the jobs you take and the people you work with. There's tons of scams and scammers out there that are looking to take your money and don't follow through on what they say. Also, when applying to agencies please find an agency that best represents you and what you stand for. Don't just submit for any agency and if you sign with an agency who doesn't best represent you.
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
In middle and high school I had a really bad skin condition that was very noticeable. For a long time doctors were not able to figure out what it was and the treatment I was getting wasn't helping. During that time my self confidence was very low and it took a lot of time for to get where I am now. I used to think something was wrong with me and would look for validation in the wrong places. I say that to say there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. I had to learn to be comfortable in my own skin.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
Not only my personality but just me knowing I am beautiful. My confidence within myself. I think my confidence is the most beautiful thing about me because sometimes its hard to come by. Not everyone is able to confident. I am able to look in the mirror and love what I see everyday. I love the skin I am in.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
This is always my favorite question because this is something I struggled with for quite sometime. Always remember self love is the best love. When you wake up and look in the mirror look at what you love about yourself. Look at how beautiful you are. In the same breathe learn to love your flaws too because they are unique to you. It's okay compliment yourself. And know that you and everything about you is amazing. Take pictures, get dolled up even when you have nothing to do. Just enjoy you.
