Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

Hello! I am a twenty year old from Ventura California. I was born and raised very close to the beach making the thought of moving away from it seem so dreadful. I could sit by the beach and listen to the peaceful waves for hours on end, it is my happy place for sure.

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I’ve been interested in modeling for as long as I can remember, however the first real experience with modeling was with the group The Model Experience on Instagram. This was in May of 2019 and I had attended a modeling class with Rio Summers. She gave us tips for basic modeling as well as helped us with our runway walk. I also had photo shoots with two photographers there! Apart from that I have collaborated with two photographer friends of mine. One shoot was for a little boutique’s Instagram page and the others just for experience!

What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to be seen by younger girls making them believe in their own beauty. I remember looking at confident models on simple wall billboards in mall stores and being in complete adoration. Not for only their beauty but for the smile on their faces or the intensity in their eyes, you can really pull so much from a simple photograph. I believe modeling and photography is all just another beautiful art form. My biggest dream is to be the inspiration young models to be look up to.

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

To be your own kind of beautiful means everything! It means not letting the world’s standards even exist in your head because being your genuine self is the purest type of beautiful. When I look at a crowd of people I see each individual’s beauty. Each person shines their own one of a kind look. There will not be one person who is identical to the next (disregarding identical twins, even then there are beautiful differences) which in itself is beautiful. Being able to experience each other’s beauty while acknowledging it is our unique look, our own kind of beautiful. Having a good soul and spreading light on those around you is being your own kind of beautiful.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would describe my fashion style as a trendy, cute, yet comfy style that is sometimes all over the place!

Who or what inspires you?

I’ve gotta say seeing how far our world as a whole has come in recent years is very inspiring to me! A lot more people have become accepting and welcoming to each person’s individuality.

What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?

My advice to someone who just started modeling would be to believe in yourself! You are with yourself every second of every day, you go through every shoot with yourself so you’ve got to be nice to yourself and push yourself to continue being the best you can be! You might run into occasions where you don’t feel so confident in yourself or someone else might even discourage you, which is where you need to remind yourself you’ve came this far and you’re doing great no matter what! It’s easy to compare our progress with the next persons but we have to remember we are where we are meant to be, we are aligned with our ultimate destiny.

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

The only real obstacle I’ve had to face so far in my life is anxiety. It may seem like a small thing to some people, but when you get so anxious that it begins to control your actions it isn’t something you can really shake off. It’s taken a lot of work on myself and trust in myself to get me where I am today. There are still days where I feel like the anxious pit in my stomach will never go away but even then I have to remind myself I’m stronger than my feelings and will always get past it. Fighting the daily battle has really showed me how to express love and patience with myself as well as being accepting of the people around me, understanding there may be some underlying battle in their own life.

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

What makes me beautiful is how open my heart is. Sure there is physical attraction which I couldn’t deny I do have, but being loving is the purest form of beauty. Spreading love and acceptance around to the world around me really brightens the world up expressing my true inner beauty.

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

If I could tell another person my age who is struggling with confidence my tips and tricks to having confidence I’d let them know it’s a fake it till you make it kind of thing. It will be hard at first but if you convince yourself that you are confident it will begin to become true. As you start letting loose a little more you’ll realize there was no reason you ever questioned your confidence! I like to look at the world as a big video game. We control ourselves and our actions nobody else opinions really matter because at the end of the day it really is only you and yourself! In conclusion: BE YOURSELF AND LOVE IT!
