Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)

 My name is Taylor and i’m 23 (almost 24) years old. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois until I was about 18 when I moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL for college. I studied psychology in undergrad and now i’m working on my masters. 

Tell us about your modeling experience. 

I have no previous modeling experience technically. I have had my picture taken by many friends in the photography business as a way to help them build their portfolio.

What is your biggest dream?

It has always been a dream of mine to walk at Miami Swim Week!

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

I think it means to be unapologetically yourself and being completely authentic. Owning who you are is one of the most beautiful things you can do!

How would you describe your fashion style?

My style is pretty basic! I like to keep it simple most of the time. Most of the time you’ll catch me wearing jeans with sneakers and a cute top!

Who or what inspires you?

My family!

Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.

A couple years ago I lost a couple people very close to me to unforeseen circumstances and it really made me reflect on how I was living my life. It made me worry less about silly stuff and just want to live my life because life is short. 

What makes you beautiful/handsome?

My empathy for others and my generosity. 

What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?

I know it’s hard but you have to stop caring about what other people think. Surround yourself with positive people and people who love you and you’ll be just fine!
