Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add).

Hi! I’m 22, from Rochester, NY and am just getting started with modeling. I am also currently a college student pursing my Bachelors in English literature and certification in Inclusive Childhood Education.  

Tell us about your modeling experience.

I am new to modeling, but fashion has always been an area I’ve been interested in. “Project Runway” was my favorite show when I was little and I am currently loving “Next In Fashion.” When watching shows like this, I have always looked beyond the designs, and into how the models present themselves in them. 

What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?

Being your own kind of beautiful to me means that you’re not afraid to accept who you are and what makes you unique.

What makes you beautiful?

I believe that what makes me beautiful has more to do with the inside than the outside. I am someone who tries their very best to be kind and accepting of all people. 

Who or what inspires you?

My Mom has always inspired me not only to have big goals for myself, but also to give back and help those in need as well. 

What would you say to another girl/ guy your age who is struggling with confidence?

Unfortunately, I think that social media can contribute a lot to this, with everything from cyber- bullying to photoshopped bodies creating unrealistic body expectations. The biggest advice I have is to surround yourself with people who build you up and celebrate your accomplishments instead of tearing you down. The people you surround yourself with can have a huge impact on how you see yourself.
