Tell us about yourself (where are you from, age, whatever you want to add)
My name is Jesse, I’m from a small town on Cape Cod. In my free time when I’m not working I love too make videos with my friends and also take photos with them! Cape Cod is a small place so their isn’t always a lot to do, but my friends and I make the most of it. I also love too go sailing, fishing, and having beach days!
Tell us about your modeling experience.
The only modeling experience i’ve had thus far is a modeling and acting school called barbizon, where they teach you pretty much everything about the industry. From there I had two auditions for the passport to discovery cruise, and washington, d.c. competition which I got! but due to the circumstances of my home life and sudden passing of a loved one, I was not able to go. Now that everything is back to normal im ready to start trying again and getting my name out their!
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to act in horror movies, thrillers, tv shows, commercials, and model for magazines, and do print work around the world! I also want too become an influencer because I feel as if I can give guidance to others who have struggled with some of the struggles i have overcome.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
To me, being your own kind of beautiful is finding the self love within yourself and bringing it out full force. self love and self care are the best steps and best ways to radiate beauty and love amongst yourself and others. Not letting anyone define you or put you in a box and knowing that how you are on the inside is what reflects on the outside definitely is one of a kind beauty too me.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would say my style changes depending on my mood but definitely a mix between street wear, edgy, casual, glam, and chic
Who or what inspires you?
Someone who inspires me is my aunt. she has beat cancer twice, and has always been such a parental, positive, and loving figure in my life growing up. she sacrifices everything for her family, and is very hardworking and driven and I strive to be like her someday.
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started with modeling?
Start building a portfolio and even reach out to local photographers in your area to help you out with your photos, and keep building your portfolio and start sending it in too different agencies, and if their are any open casting calls near you always go and audition!
Describe some obstacles you have overcome in your life and how that has changed or shaped you.
In my life i’ve been through a couple of great obstacles. One is that I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at the age of 11, and ever since had a long journey of self harm, suicidal thoughts, and even resulting in a hospitalization once. Im happy to say with the right tools I have overcome my self harm and suicidal thoughts, and now strive to help others going through the same thing. My godson also passed away suddenly due to SIDS and it’s been a long grieving process but Im finally starting to overcome it:)
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
What makes me beautiful is the way I am on the inside and outside. I love being their for people, and making people laugh. I also am a very empathetic and loving person and it makes me feel beautiful the way im able to care for others.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
Even though social media is a great platform, it can also be very toxic. and my advice too anyone struggling with confidence is too put your technology away, start making lists everyday of things you love about yourself, and start practicing self love and making self care routines for yourself.
