Hi! My name is Kiersten J. I am Filipino,Hispanic and Italian which together has given me a unique look.I was born and raised in the Maryland area. I am 16 years old. My favorite animals are dogs and horses. On my spare time I enjoy reading books as well as riding horses. The biggest obstacle that I have faced in my life thus far is being bullied in Middle School to my Freshman year. It was a challenging time in my life. I lost all of my self esteem. I now have all of my self esteem back and I owe it all to modeling. My passion and aspiration in life is to stop bullying. The one thing that I would say to another girl that may be facing problems with self esteem and confidence is: your skin is beautiful and your body shape is perfect the way it is. You need to forget about the haters and learn to live your life to the fullest.
Tell us about your modeling Experience:
I've been modeling since the age of 14. My present modeling experience is print and runway. My biggest accomplishments in modeling is being featured on the cover of a local DMV Magazine called Dulce Quince and being featured in Model Citizen Magazine July 10, 2019 edition. I've walked in several fashion shows which has been a ton of fun.
What is your biggest Dream?
My biggest dream for life in general is for there to be an end to bullying and hatred in this world. There's way too much suffering going on and the suicide rate is outrageous. We all deserve to be happy. For me personally, my biggest dream is to be featured on the cover of a popular magazine and a print add for a famous designer or brand. I also dream of moving to Hollywood one day.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Humble enough to know that I am not better than anyone else and wise enough to know that I'm different from the rest. To be yourself you need to understand yourself...find the inner beauty in you...Not pleasing others but yourself...Doing stuff that makes you happy not others...Regardless of what people may think!
How would you describe your fashion style?
I'd say fashionable, simple and comfortable. I usually wear jeans and t shirts. I also do enjoy getting dressed up for special occasions.
Who or what inspires you?
My inspiration in life is Tyra Banks because she has a lot of confidence. The thing that I do to stay inspired as a model is watching other models achieve there dreams and goals.
What have been your greatest accomplishments in life?
My greatest accomplishments in life ties into my modeling. I'd have to say being featured on the cover of a local magazine as well as Model Citizen Magazine has been my greatest accomplishment in life.
