Tell us about yourself.
My name is Bella N. I am 13 years old and live in PA. I love modeling and fashion. I am an Allstar cheerleader and athlete. I am involved in school as a student government member, cheerleader, member of the band and orchestra. I also love to paint in my free time.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to pursue modeling in a combination of print and runway experiences. I would love to pursue these opportunities while focusing on becoming a medical doctor in the future. I have a personal focus on becoming a neurosurgeon as I have a family member who has a rare brain tumor and I would love to
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?be able to help them and others like them.
It means being comfortable in your own skin and knowing there is not one definition of beauty. It also means knowing that beauty starts with what is on the inside first and foremost.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
I have done commercial shoots for several smaller clothing companies and have walked in smaller fashion shows.
What is your dream brand to model for?
My dream companies to model for would be Hollister, American Eagle and other clothing stores. I would also love to work with makeup and health/beauty products.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I love to wear a combination of everyday styles with one or two fashion pieces. I can go anywhere from wanting to wear very casual clothes to wanting to wear fancy dresses. In addition I love mixing styles like a leather jacket with a dress. Or a cute dress with sneakers.
How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?
I feel it is very important to be self aware and confident in yourself. You have to believe in yourself and know that you can achieve whatever you want to as long as you believe you can overcome any obstacles if you are willing to try. You need to be able to self-assess how you can make changes in order to achieve your goals as well.
What makes you beautiful?
I truly believe that in addition to being confident, intelligent and determined; I look for beauty in others and know that differences and unique characteristics make everyone beautiful. I feel that beauty starts on the inside and that also means being comfortable in your own skin.
What would you say to another girl your age who is struggling with their confidence?
I would tell them that they need to focus on being more confident in themselves and to see the things that set them apart or makes them unique as beautiful and adding value to our society. I would also be their friend and make sure they know they can depend on me for support.
