Tell us about yourself.
I was born in Massachusetts, but I moved to New Hampshire. My nationality is 75% Vietnamese and 25% Cambodian. I am 17 years old and I turn 18 in April.
What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to become a model. But I also want to go to college for Computer Science.
What does it mean to be your own kind of beautiful?
Everyone is beautiful in their own way, everyone has their own unique characteristics, there isn't anyone that is more beautiful than anyone else.
Tell us about your modeling experience.
The only modeling experience I have had is with small businesses on Instagram. They sent me their products and I did a shoot with their clothes.l
What is your dream brand to model for?
My dream brand to model for is Gym Shark. I love going to the gym and I love their fitness clothes. But I also want to model for brands like Tiger Mist and Princess Poly.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would describe my style as unique because I don't have one particular style, I have a variety of clothes in my wardrobe. I like street style but I also like to follow the current trends.
How important is self-awareness and confidence to you in your everyday life?
It is very important for me to be confident in myself because if I'm not confident then how am I suppose to achieve my goals? You need to believe in yourself in order for people to see that you have potential.
What makes you beautiful/handsome?
I think what makes me beautiful is my natural skin tone and my height. Since I am mixed and part Cambodian, I have this natural tan year-round that everyone compliments. And I am also very short so I feel that is a feature that is not highlighted in the modeling industry.
What would you say to another girl/guy your age who is struggling with their confidence?
I would tell them to never lose hope in themselves because losing confidence is like giving up. You need to stay positive to overcome the struggles and hope for a better future.
